Are you a research-driven talent professional with a background in Executive Search and experience mapping talent within commodity trading or energy markets?

Our client, a highly regarded international trading organisation, is seeking a Talent Sourcing & Research Specialist to join their growing Talent Acquisition team. This is a unique opportunity to move in-house while continuing to utilise your executive research, talent mapping and market intelligence expertise within a fast-paced and specialist trading environment.

The Opportunity Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Lead, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging and building relationships with exceptional talent across trading, origination, technology, risk and corporate functions throughout Europe.

This role would particularly suit someone currently working as a Researcher, Senior Researcher, Talent Intelligence Specialist, Mapping Consultant or Executive Search Associate within an executive search firm, ideally supporting commodity trading, energy trading, financial markets or related sectors.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities • Conduct detailed talent mapping, competitor analysis and market research across European trading markets. • Identify and engage high-calibre passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques and specialist industry networks. • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements. • Produce market intelligence reports, candidate shortlists and competitor insights to support strategic hiring decisions. • Partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to understand talent needs and advise on market conditions. • Track talent trends, compensation data and competitor hiring activity. • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through professional engagement and relationship management. • Maintain accurate candidate and market intelligence data within talent systems and CRM platforms.
Requirements

About You We’re keen to speak with professionals who can demonstrate: • Previous experience within Executive Search, Talent Intelligence, Recruitment Research or Talent Mapping. • Exposure to commodity trading, energy trading, financial trading, commodities, power, gas or related specialist markets. • Strong experience identifying and attracting hard-to-find passive candidates. • Advanced LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search expertise. • Excellent research, analytical and stakeholder management skills. • Experience producing market maps, competitor analysis and talent intelligence reports. • The ability to manage multiple complex searches simultaneously.

Highly Desirable • Experience supporting commodity trading houses, energy traders, hedge funds or financial services clients. • International search exposure across Europe. • Knowledge of trading, origination, quantitative, technology or risk professional markets. • Experience using talent intelligence and AI-enabled sourcing tools.
