Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities • Handle end-to-end claims processes, from notification to settlement. • Investigate claims thoroughly, liaising with clients, brokers, surveyors, and legal teams. • Assess liability and coverage in line with policy terms. • Negotiate settlements and manage disputes professionally. • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems. • Provide clear communication and updates to clients and internal teams. • Contribute to process improvements and best practices.
Requirements
About You • Proven experience in marine/hull insurance claims handling. • Strong understanding of marine policies and legal frameworks. • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills. • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple claims. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in claims systems and Microsoft Office. • Relevant qualifications (e.g., ACII) are a plus.
